COVID-19 support for UK sex workers

We want to let sex workers know that the NUM casework team are available to provide support during the COVID-19 pandemic, whether that’s just a listening ear or a request for information on resources available to sex workers at this time. Financial issues, health concerns and isolation will all be having a huge impact on the sex work community.

The casework team is available nationally for Covid-19 support Monday-Friday 1pm- 3pm on 0161 629 9861 or email casework@uglymugs.org.

We know from feedback and surveys that the sex work community is struggling financially, and this might mean people are struggling to buy food. We now have a dedicated online chat service where you can speak to a friendly NUM team member and find out about our food voucher scheme and any additional support we can offer.  

NUM online chat is for people sex working in the UK and is available at the following times: 

 

During office hours:

Monday to Friday: 1-3pm

Out of office hours:

Tuesday evening: 6 - 8pm

Saturday morning 10 -12noon
